Battenberg Lace By Machine - A Step-by-step Guide Compiled By Debra Justice (Item #BLM2)

This booklet shows you step-by-step how to do Battenberg lace by machine. It couldn't be easier. Debra brings you another fast and easy way to do a technique normally done by hand, by machine. The look of hand done work made easy. The booket includes four patterns that you can easily learn on - they start out simple, and gradually have more pieces. Debra uses the new Magic Melt Away Plastic stabilizer (below) that you can stitich through without it tearing - it's the real secret!

Magic Melt Away Plastic Stabilizer (Item #MMS2)

Use this 100% heat removable film as a stabilizer on all fabrics that can withstand an iron temperature of 260 - 300 degrees F. (120 - 140 C). Excellent for Battenber Lace and Cutwork. It does not tear when making the bridging stitchesand mets away with a hot iron. Iron temperature must be at least 260 degrees F (120 C). Sample package contains 2 yards - 10".

Debra's Easy Heirloom Bonnet Pattern (Includes a fancy Swiss Embroidered trim) (Item # DBP)

This little bonnet is fast and easy. You can learn how to do heirloom sewing, instructions included or you can pick a version that is just made out of Swiss embroidered fabric. This pattern is neat because it includes half a yard of a fancy Swiss embroidered trim to edge your first bonnet, so all you need is a quarter of a yard of fabric which is actually enought for two bonnets. It comes in size 0 - 6 months, and 6 months.

This is the pillow pattern that was featured in Sew News - and the customers loved it. When I started teaching heirloom sewing this was the project I would have my students learn on. You learn all of the heirloom techniques, step - by - step by the time you put it together. It measures about 16" across by 12" high (including the ruffle). I know you'll love it!
