Ready To Smock Bonnets - Newborn or Infant(Item #RTSB)

Pre pleated, French lace-edged bonnet with six rows ready for smocking. To complete, it needs 1 1/2 yards of ribbon for the ties and 1 yard of 1/4" ribbon for the back casing. The Newborn size is 9" deep and the Infant size if 10 1/2" deep. Imperial Batiste (65% polyester / 35% cotton). Free smocking design included.

65% Polyester / 35% Cotton and matches our Imperial Batiste perfectly! Just so happens it's the exact same fabric. It's pre-shrunk, and tested for colorfastness. 3 yards per package - Specify White, Ecru, Pink, Peach, Yellow, Seafoam, Light Blue or Lavender.

Smocking Dots - regular or pleater compatible (Item # Smocking Dots)
These dot's come in regular (old fashioned spacing) or pleater compatible spacing which means the gathering or spacing, is the same as a smocking pleater would make. You iron them on and gather with a needle and thread. An easy way to try smocking without purchasing a pleater. Use yellow dots on dark colour fabrics and the blue dots for light color fabrics. Cut the required number of rows and place down on wrong side for fabric. With a warm iron transfer the dots. They wash out with mild soap and water. Be sure to test a few dots on your fabric "before" you smock to be sure they will wash out. Please specify Yellow or Blue.
